3-Day National Level Faculty Development Program on “Mobile-First Teaching Hacks”

14th – 16th October 2025

The 3-Day National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Mobile-First Teaching Hacks” was successfully conducted from 14th to 16th October 2025, with enthusiastic participation from faculty members across India. The program was designed to empower educators to create complete digital teaching ecosystems using only a smartphone — covering lesson videos, quizzes, notes, attendance, and classroom content delivery.


Day 1: Foundations of Mobile-First Teaching

Resource Person: Dr. Mohit Pahwa, Assistant Professor, NMIMS Chandigarh

The first day introduced participants to the concept of mobile-first pedagogy. Dr. Pahwa demonstrated how educators can:
• Create high-quality lesson videos using simple mobile apps
• Develop digital notes using cloud-based tools
• Manage teaching workflows without laptops
• Increase student engagement through multimedia
The session received excellent feedback for its practicality and hands-on nature.


Day 2: Interactive Learning Tools Using Smartphones

The second day focused on making classrooms interactive and assessment-friendly using mobile apps. Participants learned to:
• Create MCQ quizzes and share them instantly
• Generate attendance forms directly from the phone
• Automate responses and track student participation
• Use mobile-based teaching aids effectively
The demonstrations helped teachers immediately implement these tools in their own institutions.


Day 3: Academic Innovation & Digital Pedagogy

Resource Person: Prof. (Dr.) Sangita Ghodake, Professor – PDEA; BOS Member – SPPU & PCU

The final day was led by the distinguished academician Prof. (Dr.) Sangita Ghodake, who delivered a powerful session on:
• Content design & creativity using mobile devices
• Enhancing teaching quality through digital pedagogy
• Integrating literature, humanities, and technology
• Academic storytelling, communication & presentation skills
• Sustainable mobile-based practices for teachers

Her rich academic experience of 30+ years and global exposure enriched the session, making it deeply insightful and inspiring for all attendees.


🎤 Engagement & Interaction

Each day concluded with a dedicated Q&A session, allowing participants to seek guidance, clarify tool usage, and discuss challenges related to mobile-based teaching. The speakers encouraged educators to adopt technology confidently and creatively.


🏁 Valedictory & Conclusion

The 3-Day FDP successfully concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Zarreen Bagwan, Associate Manager at BrightHawk InfoTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. She thanked all resource persons, participants, and the JSPM management team for their cooperation and contribution to the program’s success.

Participants expressed high satisfaction, particularly appreciating the hands-on demonstrations, real-time practice, and ease of applying the tools immediately in their classrooms.
