📌 Introduction

Dnyansagar Institute of Management & Research (DIMR), Pune, in association with BrightHawk InfoTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized a 5-Day National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Digital Storytelling for Educators.”
The FDP aimed to equip educators with modern digital storytelling techniques to enhance teaching effectiveness, learner engagement, and creativity in academic communication.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, researchers, PhD scholars, school teachers, and education professionals from across India. Every session blended pedagogy, creativity, and technology—helping educators rethink the way stories can transform classrooms.

⭐ DAY-WISE REPORT

📅 Day 1 – Basics of Storytelling in Teaching

Speaker: Dr. Simran Preet Kaur
Topic: “Understanding Storytelling as a Pedagogical Tool”

The inaugural session began with a warm welcome by the BrightHawk anchor, followed by a brief orientation on the 5-day agenda and expected outcomes.

Role of emotions, characters, conflict, and resolution

Topic: “Visual Storytelling with Canva – A Practical Workshop”

Day 2 was fully hands-on and highly interactive. Denise guided participants through the Canva interface, introducing them to design thinking and visual sequencing.

Speaker: Dr. Devika Sharma
Topic: “Comics, Frames & Visual Pedagogy”

This session explored the power of comic-style storytelling in education.

Introduction to comic grammar (panels, frames, gutters, pacing)
How visual narratives promote conceptual clarity
Designing simple educational comics using free tools

Topic: “Transforming Academic Presentations with Storytelling”

The final day focused on enhancing academic delivery—presentations, seminars, project reports, and research communication.
