1. Introduction

Choice College of Arts and Commerce, Warje, Pune, in collaboration with the Global Foundation for Education and Future Skills, successfully organized a Two-Day National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Practical Aspects of ICT Tools & Online Teaching in Current Scenario” on 01–02 July 2025.

The FDP aimed to equip educators with contemporary digital tools, ICT-driven pedagogies, and AI-enabled teaching strategies required in the rapidly evolving digital education landscape. The sessions were thoughtfully curated to support academic professionals in enhancing their teaching methodologies, adopting interactive online platforms, and understanding the ethical dimensions of digital-age education.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, research scholars, and educators from various colleges and universities across India.


2. Objectives of the FDP

The primary objectives included:

  • To provide hands-on exposure to ICT tools for effective online teaching.

  • To explore AI-driven innovations for modern classrooms.

  • To emphasize ethical, moral, and professional responsibilities in digital teaching.

Speaker: Dr. Gargi Pant Shukla

Affiliation: Swami Rama Himalayan University
Topic: “Leveraging ICT Tools for Interactive and Outcome-Based Online Teaching: Strategies, Platforms, and Pedagogical Practices”
